Chargers to fire Norv Turner

They have finally done it. The San Diego Chargers have come to their senses and are doing something they should have done in 2008. They are firing head coach Norv Turner. Turner has been on the hot seat for four years now even though it feels like ten. The Chargers will let Norv go at the end of the season, but will let him finish out the year as coach.

General manager A.J. Smith appears to also be headed out the door along with Turner in San Diego. Smith will also be fired effective at the end of this season.
