Jaylen Johnson is a Card!

Big news for Rick Pitino this morning as ESPN 100 Power Forward Jaylen Johnson commits to the Louisville Basketball program. This really isn't a shocker as Louisville has been rumored the favorite for the past month or so for Johnson's services. The Kid is only sixteen so there is still room for him to improve and mature. This now gives Pitino and his staff three verbal commitments for the class of 2014 all being in the ESPN 100. This has the potential to be Pitino's best class here while at Louisville. He is still in on one of the best players in the country Trey Lyles and according to many experts it is down to Louisville and Kentucky. There is no doubt that Pitino is using the momentum from last years National Championship to keep the ball rolling here at Louisville. With Louisville heading into the ACC the 2014-2015 athletic year, we will need the best players we can get.
