Justin Upton traded to the Braves

After rumors swirling since before the trade deadline last year, it appears the Diamondbacks have finally traded Justin Upton. Upton has been traded to the Braves in a deal involving several prospects including the Braves top prospect in their farm system. I'm still puzzled s to why Arizona was so eager to trade a young star, but they have.

Justin's brother B.J. signed with the Braves earlier in the off-season as a free agent and this will be the first time the two brothers have played together in the major leagues. The Braves now have the outfield they wanted of Heyward and two Uptons that looks to be dangerous to the rest of the National League this upcoming season.
