Carson Palmer is Still a God Awful Teammate

Looks like the ole red bearded whiner is at it again. Just two years after taking his ball and going home rather than play for the Bengals and quiting on Cincinnati, he is trying to do the same to the Oakland Raiders. If you remember the Raiders stupidly traded numerous picks for Palmer who promptly disappointed them. Now Carson has refused to restructure his contract and according to some has already begun looking for another team to give him a starting spot. Some say the Vikings are his preferred landing spot and he isn't even giving Oakland the time of day after they mortgaged their future for him and gave the reins of their offense to him for the last 2 seasons. Carson seems ready to burn yet another bridge in the NFL without any regard for anyone but himself.

As a Bengals fan,  this news doesn't surprise me one bit. In fact I'm shocked that Carson didn't spit in the face of every Raiders teammate and employee on his way out. I hope for the Vikings sake that they avoid the agony of having their team led by Carson Palmer, and realize that Christian Ponder is a better option under center. Sooner or later Carson needs to look in the mirror at his awful beard and realize that he has only himself to blame for his under performing over the years. Its not his team or coaches fault that he throws an absurd number of interceptions and cant get a team to the playoffs no matter how many weapons are around him. It isn't the Bengals or Raiders who threw all those picks Carson, it was you. And when you go to a new team and stink it up, it will be your fault again, and you will probably once again run away with you tail between your legs.
