Red Sox sign Mike Napoli

The Red Sox have stolen away a Ranger. Boston has reportedly signed the former Texas catcher to a 3-year deal worth $39 million. After two seasons with the Rangers Napoli is headed to Boston leaving Texas with a hole behind the plate.

The Red Sox also appear to be in serious talks with the Mets about acquiring their ace, R.A. Dickey. If they land the Cy Young winner along with signing Napoli then things are looking up for Boston this offseason.
