Rumors: Les Miles to resign to due to affair with student?

 

Rumors began swirling late tonight that LSU head football coach Les Miles will step down on Monday due to an alleged affair with an LSU student this year. The reports are still speculation at this point but could have credibility as they seem to be hanging on and gaining steam around the college football world. If this is true the you can put Les right up there next to Bobby Petrino with the head coach scandals in college football. This is a shocking story and we will see soon how much is true and for the sake of Les Miles it better be false.

If the rumors and reports being tossed around are indeed fact, then not only is it doomsday for Les, but also for LSU football and their fans. Les is a staple in the SEC and has been the only coach to present any kind of challenge to Nick Saban in the conference. LSU would not only have to find a new coach to fill Les' crazy and brilliant shoes, but they would also surely lose recruits and have some explaining to do to the NCAA.
