If you turned off the Michigan-Kansas game last night when Kansas was up big, I feel sorry for you. You missed a great game and a ridiculous comeback. The Wolverines erased a 14 point deficit in he second half to force overtime that included some huge buckets from the Michigan guards but one shot that was bigger than all the rest. As time was running down Trey Burke pulled up from at least 30 feet and put a dagger into the Jayhawks hearts to force overtime. Once in OT Burke controlled the game along with Tim Hardaway Jr. and Michigan pulled out the win to advance to the elite eight. The real story is Burke and the ridiculous three he buried in the closing seconds of regulation:
That's as cold blooded a shot as you will ever see and takes some serious guts to drain that on such a huge stage. Burke is definitely my pick for player of the year and he single handily willed that Wolverines team to victory last night. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he did the same to carry his team over Florida and put Michigan in the final four. Michigan plays Florida tomorrow night and if Burke can come up with anything close to the magic he pulled off last night, you wont want to miss that game.
