B.J. Upton signs with Braves

Free agent B.J. Upton has reportedly agreed to terms with the Atlanta Braves. The deal is for 5 years, 75.25 million dollars. With the departure of Michael Bourn, the Braves needed a center fielder to replace him, and they landed arguably the best one on the market.

With Upton signed Bourn is now out of the picture for the Braves. Teams like the Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies are rumored to still be in play with Bourn, but we will see how it plays out. Don't forget Josh Hamilton is still without a team, and he will make a big splash wherever he decides to go.
